Welcome to the new season of Nova science.
First, we take a look about our solar system. It's a big, wide, open field with the sun in the middle and few starts around. These starts conform their own orbit. The scientist predicted that someday they will cross to each other.
Between the stars in our solar system are many asteroids move with giddy velocity. In 2004, the scientists found out a asteroid move in the sky and it seemed to be hit to the earth. The wide of it is thousand feet and if it hit to the earth, it would destroyed 80%-90% the life in the earth. And it probably true. Remember that 65 millions years ago, the same asteroids hit to the earth and made all the dinosaurs became extinct.
The scientists predicted that in Friday, 13th April, 2029, a asteroid named 99942 April will crash the earth. But NASA proved that it will not hit to the earth in 2029. It will hit straight to the earth in 2036 if it pass to the key hole. Its power equal 100 nuclear bombs at the same time and will create a hole with the measurement about 60-100 miles in the surface of the earth. NASA forecast that it will hit to the Pacific ocean and create a significant flood( 3,5h with waves 50 feet height and large) shut all the cost line of south California.
So, what can we do to safe the earth, safe the planet where we are living? The answer is use our brain, our knowledge to prevent it. The scientists give to us 2 methods to protect our plane. First one is use nuclear weapons to deflect the asteroid's orbit or make them slow enough to miss the earth. But if we want to do this, we have to know exactly the shape and structure of the asteroid. And unfortunately, we don't have enough information about this asteroid and it seem to be bad way to do this because we don't what happen next. The second methods is use a gravity machine to deflect it out of the earth. But not anyone agree with it. They admit that it's not time to spend million dollars to do this machine. They think that the thing we need to do now are searching and finding the uncover asteroids we have not know.
